super cozy place, you eat well thanks to chef Savino (great person), with the help of his wife Anna they manage to revive Italy in Spain ..... Great
In the center of the capital of Malaga - full of new establishments with modern designs and menus with expensive and pretentious dishes - it is always happy to return to a simple and cozy restaurant where they make you feel at home and they serve you exquisite food at a reasonable price. Romeo pizza - with smoked salmon, Roquefort cheese and caviar - is simply delicious and irresistible.
The visit is pleasant, it leaves its stamp of identity, they are faithful to a 40-year-old project.
They are very friendly in the treatment and the pizzas are very large
The risottos are the most recommended. Much better than pizza
Good service, extraordinary food. The only thing that got confused at the command and they brought me a dish that I hadn't asked for, but they wanted to take it back and bring the one I had asked for but I told them it wasn't necessary.
Excellent place to dine with a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Exquisite food and very friendly and attentive staff. Great value for the price.
The pasta is very good, I highlight the romantic mix, one of our favorite dishes. However, the pizzas are nothing to write home about. In general the prices are quite high, especially for pizzas, it is more focused on tourists than on local customers.
One of my favorite restaurants. I love the decoration and especially how well it is eaten. If you want not to be mistaken in your pizzas this is your place of choice.
Lovely home'made pasta, excellent ravioli. Very friendly husband and wife owners, he is the chef, from Puglia, she is from Malaga and makes sure all runs smoothly front of house. Pizzas are good too!
Thanks for the delicious food .. Thanks for the kind soul ...
Best pastas in town
40 years I have been eating excellent pizza and dessert pastries there. Its excellent champagne sangria and reasonable price. Agile and friendly service. Something small is the only negative, but cozy. A classic from Malaga that tourism has not degraded.
Even though it doesn't have that many vegetarians options, I really like this place. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the food is simply delicious. You can tell the cooks are real Italians that care about bringing the most traditional Italian cuisine
Best pizza in Spain (and Italy)
Nice nice cafe. They didn’t order food there, only Sangria-wine, which went beyond 1 liter. 12 Euro. But a 5-minute walk in the square, a lot of cafes where the same wine for 7 Euro per liter. Apparently because of romance, the price is a bit overpriced for everything.
Italian restaurant quite normal in terms of quality and variety. The service is also normal, although a better presence of the staff serving at the tables would be appreciated. In addition, quite slow and the dining room is a bit overwhelming because the tables are very close together.
The place is cozy inside. The waiters were friendly and soon brought the dishes. We ordered beef cannelloni (the pasta was al dente and it had enough tomato) and calzone (very large although scarce anchovy).
Very good match between price and quality and friendly staff!
Service was great! Food was not bad! Pasta was good. The garlic bread was good. The tomato and buff was delicious.
It was very good and everybody enjoyed their meal. The personnal vas very kind and open minded to our demands. Their suggestions for meal and wine were very appropriete. We will recommand this restaurant for a really plaisant meal ?
Family run restaurant, charming, vibrant and delicious!! Very well balanced. Had the fagotini which was rich and creamy then the pear popped through with sweet freshness. The Siciliana pizza with anchovies, capers and black olives was a salty delight. Nice sauce, great cheese, the crust was perfectly thin but not crunchy so loved that, and also really good leftover!! Ask for the spicy oil to finish. Best service we had in Granada and Malaga so far. Definitely recommend.
On the side the impeccable cleanliness and very friendly staff. On the other hand we were disappointed by the food. The dough of the pizzas a bit dry and lack of tomato (I love the edges and I could not eat them). It also lacked that characteristic flavor. They should improve if they do not want to dedicate themselves only to the passing tourist. We also ordered eggplant parmesan ... the worst I remember. If you look at the photos a lot, a lot of tomato sauce, the slices of hard eggplant ... and we are still looking for the Parmesan ..... I said it or put the batteries with the plates or only the tourists from customers will end up He passed.
Popular prices, large and tasty pizzas. The location is very good, we already had previous experience in their restaurant in La Malagueta.
Delicious eaten with this Italian. Smooth and friendly service! The tagliatelli with black truffle was top. And for dessert the warm brownie with ice cream and whipped cream was sublime !! Recommended !!
Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices
I ordered a take away pizza, it was the size of a small children portion(atleast half of a normal pizza) and I paid €9! When I mentioned this they ignored me, probably cause I already paid.. On top of that the guy that took my order took pictures of me while I was waiting, without asking for permission?! I went here for the reviews but sorry, it was really not worth the humiliation and money.. :(
Lovely family run restaurant with a good menu selection and great atmosphere
Great place and foods!
Amazing
One of the best carbonaras I have ever had!
Very good Italian food, cozy place in the historic center of Malaga, a stone's throw from the Cervantes Theater, it has an outdoor terrace, and the service, very professional and friendly, you have to go
Good food and friendly staff!
During our stay in Malaga we went 2 times to la romantica! Really good food and very nice and kind people.
Good food, but either cold or smelly from the kitchen :(
As other users highlight, the restaurant is appropriately priced with a nice and cozy decoration and very friendly and attentive staff. We ordered warm starter salad along with a provoleta, it arrived quite fast, nice presentation and correct flavor. For the main course I ordered a risotto and my companion a lasagna, the rice at its point and very tasty, the lasagna on the other hand was a little dry it is a point for improvement. For dessert a brownie and a homemade tiramisu, this second standout and better than option than the brownie, which was nevertheless good and with the detail of the freshly whipped cream. And as a detail they also invited us to two glasses of cava.
The treatment of the staff and the location of the restaurant are perfect. Now come the buts: - Since 2014, the Law obliges all restaurants to present olive oil in labeled single-dose containers and avoid refilling the car, this point does not comply. - The romantic salad is nothing more than an iceberg lettuce base with black olives, tomatoes and tuna. Fresh and quality products, but one expects more from a salad that costs almost € 9. - The pizza although it has a fine and rich dough ingredients, in the case of Capricciosa, are the same as a Margarita but with 3 anchovies; I could count them perfectly, not one more and not one less. - The mixed romantic is very well presented and the quantity is relative; Many macaroni, a single cannelloni and a little lasagna. The Bolognese of the macaroni is the same that is used for filling the cannelloni and lasagna. This Bolognese is good although for my taste it tastes too much like meat concentrate with the consequent level of salt that these products bring to food (the typical broth tablets). - The drink was a jug of red summer with lemon, quite good and fresh. For what is the place, the years have passed and it is seen that it has not been reformed or remodeled, so it presents that aspect of the eighties that we can find in very few places, each one that interprets it as you want or according to the Kitsch taste of each. I think they can offer even more, and it is time to do so if they want to survive the extensive and modern restoration offer offered by Muelle Uno.
Nice food and stuff and good location
Really good Italian pizza's, and great home made panna cotta
best pizzas ever, highly recomendated !
Delicious pizza and variety of dishes. Cozy and romantic atmosphere. Now also large terrace. There is a good quality price relation. Professional and friendly service. It is my favorite pizzeria.
Really great pizza and v friendly staff
It is the best pizzeria in Málaga. They have actually an extensive real italian cuisine menue, not just pizza. Pasta vongole is a must!! It is the same famous italian recipe that Gwynneth Paltrow made her grate curves with.
